Baseball Recap: Ogemaw Heights Triumphs

Ogemaw Heights won the last time they faced Beaverton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Beavers by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Noah Tomczak spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Conner Lambert was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Ogemaw Heights' win bumped their record up to 13-11-2. As for Beaverton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Ogemaw Heights will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Beavers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
