Football Recap: Lancaster Catholic Takes a Loss

Lancaster Catholic extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They were beaten by the Berks Catholic Saints 35-6. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

As for Berks Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won three games by 25 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Owen Schalk, who rushed for 135 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Johnny Sauppee also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
