Softball Recap: Robertson County Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Robertson County's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Bracken County Polar Bears on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Black Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Robertson County's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bracken County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robertson County will square off against Augusta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Black Devils are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Bracken County, they will challenge Campbell County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Polar Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Camels have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
