DeRidder fell victim to Thibodaux and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Thibodaux Tigers, falling 10-0. The Dragons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

DeRidder's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Thibodaux, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, DeRidder will challenge Sam Houston at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Sam Houston will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something DeRidder surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thibodaux, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Thibodaux: 3.5, Walker: 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
