Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Comes Up Short

Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fike Golden Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

Rocky Mount's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Fike, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6.

Rocky Mount didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Rolesville on the 24th. As for Fike, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Northern Nash on the 23rd.
