The result was an unpleasant reminder to Gaffney of the 8-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Gaffney's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dorman, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.
