Liberty and Sullivan West are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Indians will square off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Liberty came up short against Washingtonville on Friday, falling 19-2.

Meanwhile, Sullivan West was able to grind out a solid victory over Eldred on Monday, taking the game 11-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Sullivan West has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Liberty came out on top in a nail-biter against Sullivan West when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 6-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
