Volleyball Recap: Herscher Takes a Loss

Herscher's tournament run continued when they took on Normal University on Friday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Pioneers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Normal University can attribute much of their success to Emma Jean Lehnen, who had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Lehnen has posted over her last 13 matchups. Kylie Stanton was another key player, getting five digs and three aces.

Herscher's defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Normal University, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-4.

Herscher has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Williamsville on the 11th. As for Normal University, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tri-Valley on the 11th.
