Baseball Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew was the 8-6 winner over Tower Hill when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Hillers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Tower Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's will host First State Military Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tower Hill, they will challenge Archmere Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hillers are facing the Auks at the right time seeing as the Auks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
