Volleyball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Triumphs

Wilber-Clatonia won the last time they faced Buena Vista and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wolverines walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bison. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Haleah Schuerman paced Wilber-Clatonia's offense, picking up seven kills. Schuerman got some help from Brynn Zajicek and her seven assists. Schuerman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Wilber-Clatonia's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Buena Vista, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coming up, Wilber-Clatonia will square off against Centennial on Tuesday. As for Buena Vista, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Thayer Central on the 20th.
