Basketball Recap: Browerville/Eagle Valley Wins Going Away Against Sebeka

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Browerville/Eagle Valley had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Sebeka Trojans 76-56. The Tigers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Despite the defeat, Sebeka saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Max Lake shot 58% from the field on his way to 17 points along with five assists and five steals. Thanks to that strong game, Lake now owns an excellent 45.1% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Kiser, who posted 13 points and five boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Browerville/Eagle Valley and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Sebeka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Browerville/Eagle Valley nor Sebeka have any future games scheduled.
