Sand Rock piles up the points against LaFayette

The Sand Rock Wildcats had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat LaFayette 74-30 at home. Sand Rock has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Sand Rock had a senior duo take command as Katelyn St.Clair scored 23 points along with seven assists and six rebounds and Zoey Handy scored 19 points along with four steals. Peyton Johnson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.

The win was the eighth in a row for Sand Rock, bringing their record for this year to 25-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for LaFayette, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Sand Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. LaFayette also has no future games currently scheduled.
