Soccer Recap: Southwestern vs. Carlyle
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenville, Southwestern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians a 1-0 shutout. The Piasa Birds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians/Lady Indians, too.
Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Carlyle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12-1.
