Recap: Jay Mustangs vs. Judson Rockets
The Jay Mustangs lost against the Judson Rockets back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Jay took a hard 49-33 fall against Judson. Jay has struggled against Judson recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jay's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sincere Jackson, who scored 9 points. Jackson scored a full 27.3% of Jay's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ny'Ashia Barnes was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Jay's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Judson, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
Jay will be playing at home against Reagan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Reagan will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Judson is on the road again on Friday and play against Edinburg at 3:00 p.m. on December 1st. Averaging 71.7 so far this season, Edinburg's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Judson better be ready for a challenge.
