Softball Recap: Fordland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Blue Eye on Monday, Fordland came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Gainesville Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Fordland's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Gainesville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Fordland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gainesville, they have already played their next matchup, a 7-1 defeat against Plato on the 14th.
