Meanwhile, Vergennes kept a clean sheet against Green Mountain Valley School on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Green Mountain Valley School 1-0.

Vergennes' victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Paine Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
