Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Arroyo Valley Hawks. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

While Eisenhower was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-16.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Arroyo Valley, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-8.

Eisenhower has already played their next contest (against Rialto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Arroyo Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Indian Springs at 2:00 p.m. on March 31st.
