Baseball Recap: Canterbury School Starts off Right with Win over Pomfret School

Canterbury School gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Pomfret School Griffins. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jack Jensen looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Gabianelli, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Wells Cunningham was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
