Volleyball Recap: Sierra Pacific Comes Up Short

Sierra Pacific was the 3-0 winner over Strathmore when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Bears fell 3-1 to the Spartans on Tuesday. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sierra Pacific started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 27-25.

Sierra Pacific now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Strathmore, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Sierra Pacific will face off against Minarets at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Strathmore, they will challenge Exeter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
