Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Valley Christian Victorious

Pioneer Valley Christian took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Lee, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2 on Wednesday.

Pioneer Valley Christian was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Pioneer Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Pioneer Valley Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Southwick Regional on the 16th. As for Lee, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mohawk Trail Regional at 6:00 p.m. The Wildcats are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
