Football Game Preview: Livingston Lions vs. Liberty Panthers

Livingston hasn't had much luck against Liberty recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will face off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Livingston has given up an average of 35 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Livingston ended up a good deal behind Hardin-Jefferson and lost 37-20.

Meanwhile, Liberty fell victim to Hargrave and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Livingston came up short against Liberty in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 28-22. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
