After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Taylor finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell 7-2 to the Spruce Creek Hawks. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Amya Ramos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Spruce Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.
