On Friday, the Fulshear Chargers earned a 50-40 win over the Alief Hastings Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Alief Hastings' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Giovanni Bernal, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 14 points, and Marcos Arencibia, who posted ten points.

Fulshear's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Alief Hastings, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Fulshear will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heights at 1:00 p.m. on December 31st. After both having extra time off, Alief Hastings and Alief Taylor will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 1:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
