Redbank Valley has gone a perfect 7-0 against Punxsutawney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Chucks at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Redbank Valley will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points last Friday, then bounced right back against Bradford on Friday. The Bulldogs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-7 victory over the Owls. That looming 55-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Redbank Valley had a senior duo take command as Braylon Wagner threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt and Jaxon Huffman picked up 170 receiving yards and one TD. Huffman really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Gould, who picked up 58 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Redbank Valley's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up 0.5 apiece ( Huffman, Brock George, Devon Weckerly, and Jace Huffman also recorded half a sack).

Meanwhile, Punxsutawney is still undefeated this season after their game against DuBois on Friday, but DuBois came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Chucks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Beavers. Those 17 points were actually the fewest the Chucks have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory got Redbank Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Punxsutawney, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything went Redbank Valley's way against Punxsutawney when the teams last played back in September of 2023, as Redbank Valley made off with a 50-27 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Chucks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
