Softball Game Preview: Warwick Raiders vs. Denbigh Patriots

Warwick is 8-2 against Denbigh since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Warwick is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Thursday. They lost 13-6 to Woodside.

Warwick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Burr, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Denbigh came up short against Menchville on Thursday, falling 17-4.

Denbigh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warwick has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Denbigh struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Warwick beat Denbigh 17-14 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
