Volleyball Game Preview: Hanover Hawks vs. Hingham Harbormen

Hanover is 0-9 against Hingham since September of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Harbormen at 5:30 p.m. Hanover will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

While Hanover's win against North Quincy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks skirted past the Raiders 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since October 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, Hingham didn't have quite enough to beat Notre Dame Academy on Saturday and fell 3-2. While the Harbormen didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-19 in the first set.

Hingham started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13.

Hingham's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Hanover, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
