Basketball Recap: Troup Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Troup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 34-25 to the Tatum Eagles. The Tigers lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 55-24 score last time.

Troup's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. As for Tatum, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing White Oak the next time they take the court. Troup will host White Oak at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, while Tatum will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on January 17th.
