Dulce is 9-1 against Navajo Pine since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dulce Hawks will take on the Navajo Pine Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Dulce will be strutting in after a victory while Navajo Pine will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Dulce didn't have too much trouble with Ramah as they won 60-41.

Meanwhile, Navajo Pine suffered their closest loss since January 9th on Saturday. They fell just short of Rehoboth Christian by a score of 33-30. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lynx 12-8 in the first quarter.

Despite the defeat, Navajo Pine saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riley Dawes dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Dawes' fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

Dulce's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Navajo Pine, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Dulce beat Navajo Pine 49-42 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dulce since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
