Basketball Game Preview: Royal Knights vs. Zillah Leopards

Royal hasn't had much luck against Zillah recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Royal Knights will challenge the Zillah Leopards at 7:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Royal comes in on 13 and Zillah on three.

Last Saturday, Royal made easy work of Kiona-Benton and carried off a 74-51 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, everything went Zillah's way against Cashmere on Tuesday as Zillah made off with an 82-57 win. The Leopards is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the seven matchup they've won by 20+ points or more this season.

Royal's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.2 points. As for Zillah, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Royal strolled past Zillah in their previous matchup last Saturday by a score of 75-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Royal since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
