Baseball Recap: Plymouth Bobcats vs. Lebanon Raiders
The matchup between Plymouth and Lebanon on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Raiders. The Bobcats have beaten the Raiders the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Raiders has come to flipping the script.
Cavan Sanborn was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Plymouth got a massive performance out of Luke Diamond, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Diamond is becoming a predictor of the Bobcats' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Thomas Daigneault, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Plymouth hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
