Soccer Game Preview: Chisholm Trail vs. Granbury

The Chisholm Trail Rangers will face off against the Granbury Pirates at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Last Friday, it was close, but Chisholm Trail sidestepped Saginaw for a 3-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Rough Riders: they've now won four in a row.

Granbury played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Aledo. The win was all the more spectacular given the Pirates' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Bearcats are ranked 99th).

Granbury's victory bumped their record up to 2-5-2. As for Chisholm Trail, the win got them back to even at 5-5-2.
