Basketball Recap: Chisholm Trail Academy's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Chisholm Trail Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Max Castro. The Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers breezed by Dallas International to the tune of 83-28 on Monday thanks in part to Castro, who went 10 for 19 en route to 29 points and five rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Jadon Henderson was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points along with six boards and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Chisholm Trail Academy's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Dallas International, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Chisholm Trail Academy and Dallas International will both be playing Yavneh Academy the next time they take the court. Chisholm Trail Academy will head out to face Yavneh Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Dallas International will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
