Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kearny). They put the hurt on the Hudson Catholic Hawks with a sharp 28-2 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Kardinals sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Kearny now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hudson Catholic, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Kearny will face off against Bloomfield at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Hudson Catholic, they will take on Union City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks are facing the Soaring Eagles at the right time seeing as the Soaring Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
