Basketball Recap: Dallas HSAA Falls Despite Big Games from Addie Seal and Aria Jefferson

Dallas HSAA lost against Lincoln back in December of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Angels lost 60-40 to the Tigers. The game marked the Angels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Aria Jefferson and Addie Seal certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Jefferson went 5-for-12 en route to 17 points, while Seal posted 13 points.

Lincoln found their leader in sophomore Lanae Dallas, who earned 22 points and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dallas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ar'Jayla Elder, who had 14 points.

Dallas HSAA's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Dallas HSAA has already played their next contest, a 56-55 win against iSchool of Lewisville on the 15th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-49 loss against Summer Creek on the 15th.
