Softball Recap: Severna Park Comes Up Short

Severna Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Carroll Patriots.

Severna Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for John Carroll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Severna Park will face off against Old Mill at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for John Carroll, they will take on Archbishop Spalding at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
