Football Recap: Section Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Section played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 57-7 loss at the hands of the North Sand Mountain Bison. The Lions have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

A big part of North Sand Mountain's win came down to the chemistry between Jack Johnson and his top target Kade Davis. Johnson picked up 28 receiving yards and one TD while Davis rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Duncan Wilks got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Section's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Sand Mountain, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coincidentally, Section and North Sand Mountain will both be playing Pleasant Valley the next time they take the field. The Bison will head out to face the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
