Basketball Recap: Centralia Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

There's no place like home for Centralia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Cair Paravel Lions by a score of 63-55 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Centralia has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Cair Paravel, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centralia Panthers face off against the Hanover Wildcats at 7:10 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hanover's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. Cair Paravel has already played their next contest (against Maranatha Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
