Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jasper walked away with it. They blew past the Princeton Tigers 16-3 on Friday. Considering the Wildcats have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jasper is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Princeton, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-9.

Jasper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Princeton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mt. Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
