Lake Hamilton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Little Rock Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Warriors on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Hadison Butterbredt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Lake Hamilton got a massive performance out of Kaitlyn Guthrie, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Guthrie a new career-high. Remy Wozniak was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.

Lake Hamilton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. Their batting average was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .429 that Little Rock Christian Academy posted.

The victory made it two in a row for Lake Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
