Baseball Recap: Mammoth Takes a Loss

Mammoth lost to California City back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies lost 17-5 to the Ravens. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DJ Gray made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elias Ericson, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Mammoth's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for California City, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-8-1.

Mammoth didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-6 defeat against Desert on the 8th. As for California City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Bishop Union on the 8th.
