Baseball Recap: Cottonwood Colts vs. Hillcrest Huskies

Cottonwood scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-7 margin over the Hillcrest Huskies. The win was some much needed relief for Cottonwood as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Robbie Jensen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Jensen has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Jensen was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base.

In other batting news, Oliver Wayman was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Angel Mavarez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
