Softball Recap: Enterprise Hornets vs. Trinity Wolves

Enterprise won the last time they faced Trinity, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Enterprise Hornets blew past the Trinity Wolves 9-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for Enterprise.

Jaylee Ponte was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Ponte has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Ponte was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Maya Hubbs was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Vanessa Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
