Triway never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Orrville Red Riders 19-0. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Red Riders: they've now won nine in a row.

Lexi Long was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Long was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Myah Lester was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Alyssa Hochstetler also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

The victory got Triway back to even at 4-4. As for Orrville, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Triway will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Riders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
