Fossil Ridge faced Grandview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The SaberCats came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0. The SaberCats' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Tannor Christians paced Fossil Ridge's offense, picking up six kills. Christians got some help from Joshua Lamsma and his six assists. Trevor Baldwin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fossil Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Grandview, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.
