Flag Football Game Preview: Lathrop Spartans vs. Grace Davis Spartans

Lathrop is a perfect 3-0 against Grace Davis since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Lathrop will host Grace Davis at 6:00 p.m. Lathrop will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Lathrop's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pacheco 35-0. Considering the Spartans have won six matchups by more than 21 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Luz De Luna continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 190 yards and five touchdowns. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for five or more in each of the last three games she's played. Melia Lewis was another key player, gaining 64 total yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Grace Davis came up short against Central Valley on Wednesday and fell 21-12. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Grace Davis' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

Everything came up roses for Lathrop against Grace Davis in their previous meeting back in September, as the squad secured a 47-0 victory. Does Lathrop have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grace Davis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
