Softball Recap: Redfield Takes a Loss

Redfield came into this matchup off a tough eight-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The matchup marked the Pheasants' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Redfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Clark/Willow Lake, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Redfield will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sioux Valley at 12:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Clark/Willow Lake, they will face off against Castlewood on Saturday.
