Volleyball Game Preview: Instituto Health Sciences Phoenix vs. Collins Warriors

The Instituto Health Sciences Phoenix are taking a road trip to square off against the Collins Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Instituto Health Sciences will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Wednesday, Instituto Health Sciences earned a 2-0 win over Raby.

Instituto Health Sciences easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Collins hadn't done well against Wells recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Collins not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wells to exactly 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19.

Instituto Health Sciences' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Collins, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Instituto Health Sciences skirted past Collins 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
