Baseball Recap: Milaca Comes Up Short

Milaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 10-7 to the Pine City Dragons. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Milaca's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pine City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Milaca has already played their next contest, a 10-9 defeat against Litchfield on the 2nd. As for Pine City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-5 loss against Faribault on the 2nd.
