Baseball Recap: Forks Takes a Loss

After flying high against Coupeville on Saturday, Forks came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 12-4 to the Wolves on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered since April 9th.

Forks' loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Coupeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Forks will head out to face off against Ilwaco at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fishermen's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Coupeville, they will be playing at home against Orcas Island at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
