Carlyle had won three straight home games and Caybri Pollmann did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Indians/Lady Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sparta Bulldogs with plenty of help from Pollmann, who had five digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Carlyle took both sets by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-7.

Carlyle's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Sparta, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.

Carlyle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Red Bud on the 14th. As for Sparta, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Chester on the 14th.
